WHO WE ARE

The purpose of our organization is to encourage and support all individuals who want to express themselves through artistically-driven storytelling and visuals. We intend to bring individuality through an inclusive and thoughtful atmosphere. We give students an opportunity to try new skills or reinforce ones they already have, providing opportunities in photography, multimedia, public relations, writing, fashion, modeling, design, illustrations, and so much more. Thread Magazine's mission is to be a place for everyone — at all times

At Thread Magazine, we not only publish four magazines throughout the school year, bringing engaging and fresh content to the eyes of the OHIO community, but we also host events that welcome anyone and everyone. We host a fashion show at the end of every semester, showcasing all the looks from our magazine's photo shoots. This gives an opportunity to showcase Thread's talents while introducing people to the art of fashion and photography. This past year, we also partnered with NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) and hosted a charity auction with all proceeds going to NAMI. This will continue to be an annual event and takes place in the spring. We are always looking for new ways to address and invite the OHIO community and bring people together.
